Bananas.

For anybody that may be reading this, thank you very much for your patronage but don’t you have anything better to do? Yep me neither, and that is why I have recently taken to drawing op art inspired vector images of fruit!

Now calm your socks, I know this is soul achingly exciting but we cant all get too dizzy over my banana, I mean it is a fine specimin with just the right amount of curve, but there’s no need to swoon.

Why have I decided to take it upon myself to draw fruit? That’s a very good question, and not one that I am entirely sure of. What started this? I have a feeling I got drawn in ,(bit of a pun there, could be meta if I drew a banana drawing me!? Shhhhhh Idiot brain), when I was looking through some art resources online (probably some stock images to be honest) and saw a very minimalistic apple artwork, and thought I’d give it a go in my perfectly imperfect way. Yes that’s how it started, then I did a pear, and then a banana. Is this the start of a breakdown? Who knows? Perhaps I’m going bananas.

So yeah, all in all yet another absurd tangent away from the the endless coding, will it help me in the grand scheme of things? Probably not, I mean there may be a situation where my ability to produce a passable illustration of an item of fruit may come in useful, I’ll let you know when that happens. In the meantime I can be happy that I was thoroughly absorbed in the task for a while, and then a while more writing about it… A waste of time? Absolutely, but that banana only exists because of me and I’ll always have that at least.
